Exfoliate the skin a minimum of 2 days before your appointment. Do not exfoliate the day before, the day of or the day after.
For best results, hair should be at least a 1/4 of an inch long.
Take 1 or 2 extra strength Tylenol or Advil 1 hour prior to treatment.
Do not exfoliate the skin for 48 hours after treatment
Avoid deodorant for 24 hours after underarm sugaring
Heat (including saunas, steam rooms and hot yoga studios)
Direct sunlight, tanning beds and infrared lamps
Working out (skip the gym for the day)
Make-up (if you had facial treatment)
Touching, scratching or rubbing the treated area
Do not apply any scented lotions or creams
If possible, use loose clothing for a few days after treatment
Do not use a razor to remove hairs in between appointments. This defeats the purpose of and decreases the benefits of waxing or sugaring.
Waxing is a method to remove unwanted hair. Applied in either soft or hard form, both are made primarily of resins and beeswax.
The benefit of waxing is that the hair takes longer to grow back and the skin feels smoother.
Sugaring is an ancient method of hair removal, dating back to the Egyptians.
Sugaring is considered to be less painful than waxing and is an alternative for those who have sensitive skin.
